Marissa Jo Cerar is an award-winning television writer and producer whose work has been celebrated with an NAACP Image Award and two Humanitas Prizes. Known for her character-driven storytelling, Marissa Jo has served as Creator, Showrunner, and Executive Producer on projects like Black Cake (Hulu) and Women of the Movement (ABC). She is currently developing the series Birthright for Netflix.
