A few weeks ago, I was wondering if I should talk to my husband about changing gears in our adoption journey. Foster care with the hope of adopting was weighing on my mind a lot. The fact that we had been waiting over three years this time around had me wondering what to do and what was meant to be. I found myself looking up towards heaven for guidance more than usual.
I needed to be inspired. I needed a good reason to continue hoping and believing that our family would indeed grow. I needed assurance that I was not being selfish or pursuing the impossible or the unlikely.
I came across one of these quotes. I recalled another. I was so grateful that these words entered my heart and my mind.
I needed them.
